JAN-PHILIPP KOSFELD IS A GERMAN FASHION DESIGNER AND GARMENT ENGINEER CURRENTLY LIVING AND WORKING BETWEEN FRANKFURT AND AMSTERDAM.

AT THE AGE OF 18 HE MOVED TO LONDON, UK AND ENROLLED AT THE FASHION COLLEGE CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS, UAL.  DURING HIS BACHELOR STUDIES, HIS TUTORS INCLUDED IMRAM AHMED, CHARLES JEFFREY AS WELL AS GRACE WALES BONNER AND WORKED ON IN-COLLEGE PROJECTS WITH LVMH AND KERING.

IN 2017 JAN-PHILIPP RECEIVED THE LONDON-BASED FDC ‘RADICAL DESIGNER OF THE YEAR’ AWARD FOR MOST INNOVATIVE COLLECTION. WINNING THIS AWARD GAVE JPK THE OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE A DEBUT COLLECTION TITLED ‘KONUNDRUM’ WHICH HE SHOWCASED IN 2018 DURING VANCOUVER FASHION WEEK IN COLLABORATION WITH THE ‘GLOBAL FASHION COLLECTIVE’ (GFC).

KOSFELD'S ANALYTICAL APPROACH TO VISUALS  AND DESIGN CONCEPTS RESULTED IN A DISTINCTIVE SIGNATURE.
